PC GURU SUPPORT - REMOTE ASSISTANCE TOOL (SCREEN SHARING)
 
       
    Make sure you read and understand the process described below.
Contact the technician *after*you have obtained the ID and Password for your Screen-sharing Session.
 
   

A. INSTALLING AGENT

 
TeamViewer for Remote Support Remote Support
 
1) Click on this button to download and install the TeamViewerQS_en.exe file, which is required
to allow a remote Screen-sharing Session.
 
       
RUN FILE
  2) Run (install) the file.  
   

Mozilla Firefox Users: It will ask you to "save as" first - Make note of where it downloads the file
(GREEN ARROW in the upper/right of your screen, pointing down). By default you may see the file
in your "downloads" folder. If you have trouble finding it, read this.

 
ID/PASSWORD
  3) Note your ID and Password, and have it ready to give to our technician.  
       
    B. SCREEN-SHARING SESSION
Once our technician has initiated his work on your system, please do not operate the cursor or
keyboard until you are asked to do so. It's normal for there to be no screen activity from time to time.
 
END REMOTE SUPPORT SESSION
 

C. CLOSING
Once the technician has told you the session is complete, simply close all TeamViewer windows.
